Stronger Benifits: I will work diligently to develop an organizational support system that updates and enhances the value AAPI members receive for everything from financial and legal resources to group purchasing offers and discounts.
Stronger Advocacy: I’ll take affirmative steps toward making AAPI’s voice heard and our organization’s priorities a part of local, state and national legislative processes.
Stronger Outreach: I’ll spearhead initiatives to expand our footprint and extend our reach in both the US and India including facilities development, accreditation bodies, exchange programs and more.
Stronger Tomorrow: I’ll strive to engage with and develop the next generation of AAPI membership, through the creation of mentoring and guidance programs for new physicians as well as advice and resources for running a more successful clinical practice and career.
If you trust me with your vote, I will do everything in my power to create transformative change that will take AAPI to the next level. But I can’t do it without you. I need your help.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Raj Bhayani has been recognized for his contributions to medicine, healthcare leadership, and the community. His background as an ENT specialist includes extensive experience in otolaryngology, surgical care, medical education, research, and professional leadership.
As Rajendra Bhayani ENT, his professional journey reflects a commitment to providing quality patient care while remaining actively involved in the broader medical community. His experience as Dr Raj Bhayani, MD New York has included work across otolaryngology, neurosurgery, facial plastic surgery, and microvascular surgery.
As a respected Raj Bhayani Otolaryngologist, Dr. Bhayani has also been involved in professional organizations and initiatives that support physicians, healthcare professionals, and communities.
AAPI is a wonderful organisation and has reached a pinnacle through the hard work and dedication of its Past Presidents, Board of Trustees, and all AAPI members. At the same time, healthcare in the USA is rapidly undergoing radical transformation. AAPI, being the second-largest ethnic organisation, has a responsibility to play an even bigger role while addressing many important challenges.
The future of AAPI depends on making the organization financially independent so that more time can be spent building the organization rather than focusing primarily on fundraising. AAPI can only become stronger if we increase the membership of nonparticipating Indian physicians as well as the newer generation of young physicians. We must work hard to demonstrate the value that joining AAPI can bring to physicians and their professional communities. Our future is promising if we can successfully attract and engage these members.
The AAPI Global Health Summit has reached a new level of recognition, with the President of India inaugurating the Summit in Mumbai. India engagement by AAPI has grown substantially through various programs and initiatives. The time has come for AAPI to establish a permanent office in India and create its own not-for-profit organization in India. We have enormous talent and resources available; the key is finding effective ways to bring those resources together and use them as a strong, collaborative team.
My professional experience as an ENT specialist and Raj Bhayani Otolaryngologist has reinforced the importance of collaboration, leadership, education, and service within the medical community. These same principles are important to the continued growth and development of organizations such as AAPI.
I have no doubt that under the leadership of President Dr. Suresh Reddy, Chair BOT Dr. Seema Arora, President-Elect Dr. Sudhakar Jonnalagadda, Vice President Dr. Anupama Gotimukula, and other leaders of AAPI, the organization will continue to excel beyond expectations and reach new heights.
The combination of professional service, medical leadership, and community involvement remains an important part of the journey of Dr Raj Bhayani, MD New York, and his continued commitment to medicine and the communities he serves.
